OCT 2023 | Jeremy was thrilled to be able to join Ms. Caroline Hatten, the Economics & Business Teacher at Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy, in partnership with Junior Achievement.
The JA Take Stock in Your Future program introduces students to the stock market. This program may include two components: a classroom curriculum, and for many participants, the JA Stock Market Challenge competition event.
As a Certified Family Business Specialist and CEO of Sky Peak Financial, Jeremy volunteered to join Ms. Hatten in the classroom curriculum, which comprised five sessions that introduced students to basic concepts about how the stock market works and the impact of current events on the stock market. The program also includes multiple self-guided extension activities that engage students in deeper learning about the stock market and investing.

JA Take Stock in Your Future is part of the JA Financial Literacy Pathway with a secondary focus on Work and Career Readiness Pathway.
26 AUG 2023 | The inaugural Wine Women & Shoes – Space Coast event benefiting weVENTURE Women’s Business Center was a success!
This annual event is an opportunity for women to get glamorous with their girlfriends, show off their swankiest shoes, enjoy incredible varietals from top winemakers, shop local woman-owned businesses in the marketplace and see the latest looks from local boutiques and local female designers – all for a great cause!
The mission of weVENTURE Women’s Business Center is to ignite the economic power of women by providing low and no cost business education, training and mentorship to female entrepreneurs and leadership development opportunities for women across all industries. This event is a perfect opportunity for empowered women to help empower other women and support the local small business community.
Jeremy participated by being a Sole Man – where all proceeds from his ticket sales helped support weVENTURE’s free business coaching program, low and no cost business education, training and mentorship programs. Thank you to all the sponsors and guests who generously helped raise over $400,000 to support weVENTURE Women’s Business Center programs and the new IMPACT Grant!

25 AUG 2023 | The Space Coast Black Chamber’s Launching Black Excellence Awards Gala was an event for celebrating the history of the African diaspora and honoring the many things that have made Florida’s Space Coast region exceptional. The theme for 2023, Resilience and Resurgence: Commemorating Africa’s Ancestral Treasures, celebrated the unique heritage of Africa and the significant contributions of African culture to the world.
Attendees were able to celebrate nominees and winners who are proven leaders, not just in their industries but in the Brevard County community as a whole. Sky Peak was honored to support the nominees and come together with the community during such a wonderful occasion.

01 APR 2023 | The Grand Opening of the Firehouse Project was a 3-year renovation project to repurpose Firehouse #1 in Cocoa, Florida. Many community volunteers & supporters attended the grand opening event on April 1, 2023. This location will serve as a hub of services that will elevate families in Brevard County out of homelessness. As a partner & sponsor of Family Promise of Brevard, Sky Peak Financial has enjoyed working & collaborating with Family Promise to help our community grow & work together to uplift our residents. By relocating to the Firehouse, Family Promise will be able to elevate families out of poverty by providing onsite access to training, education, and workforce development. Sky Peak’s commitment to this community partnership is to help leave a legacy that is greater than one person or organization. Seeing their vision come to reality has been an amazing celebration & we are thankful to be able to build a stronger community together!

21 MAR 2023 | This was a great day spent with some of Brevard’s best & brightest students and community leaders! The Academies of Viera High School had a successful Life Skills Workshop for their Academy Seniors. Students met and engaged with multiple community leaders to discuss topics such as auto maintenance, health and wellness, safety and crime, finance, college/military readiness, and nutrition. The skills they learned will help them navigate the next four years of their lives much easier. Hearing such insightful and meaningful talks from the amazing panel of speakers was inspiring, and we know these Seniors will be doing great things in the future!

24 MAR 2022 | A Celebration & Grand Opening Event! Sky Peak Financial celebrated their new space and ribbon cut ceremony with the Melbourne Regional Chamber in March 2022.
CEO Jeremy Lindquist said, “I feel very strongly that as a business owner that serves this region, I have an obligation to be a resource and a professional connector of other professional individuals who could stand to benefit from my efforts and expertise. When good people rally together in support of the economic health of a community, good things are created! We have received such a warm welcome in Brevard County & we are so happy to be part of the community!”
